🌱 The Robert’s Tree Scholarship 🌱
Dr. Robert Lockhart was a pioneering individual in the fruitarian lifestyle and diet, had a fervent love for the planet and grew many rare, tropical fruits on his farm. Robert was also an inspirational force behind our festival. Though we lost him in 2019, his legacy continues to inspire and influence us. So, the Woodstock Fruit Festival established the Robert’s Trees Scholarship. This initiative not only keeps alive his ideals and aspirations of a better planet and a fruit-based diet for all, but extends an in-house credit to our festival attendees.

🌎 Mandala Springs’ Environmental Programs 🌍
WFF not only encourages good stewardship of the environment through our scholarships, but we prioritize venues with similar views. Mandala Springs works with local firesafe groups who host trainings for locals about the importance of managing the vegetation and land. Their onsite landscaping team works to implement sustainable agriculture practices through their garden (see below) and young fruit orchard 🍎 WFF attendees will also be happy to know that Mandala Springs has an onsite composting system for food waste and they use compostable dishware for their events. They are even conscious of their bath and laundering products, using EO Products (a certified B Corporation) and Ecos, respectively.
Don’t miss your chance to plant a tree 🌳 and save money on your attendance to WFF-2026 at the beautiful Mandala Springs Wellness Retreat Center!
