We just described food demos at the Woodstock Fruit Festival. If you didn't make it this year or couldn't attend all the demos (we don't blame you– there were 20+ of them), we've got some highlights to share with you.

Want a taste?

Food demos at Woodstock give you the chance to learn the secrets of raw food chefs from all over the world. These culinary artists bring flavors from home to the table, whether home is Brazil, Canada, Israel or the U.S.!

Israeli chef Daphna Amon blew us away with her gourmet, oil-free, salt-free, raw Mediterranean dishes! Yes, you just read "oil-free" and "Mediterranean" in the same sentence! Check out her mouth watering falafel...

From Dulche de Leche Fondue to Raw Rondelli, Brazilian chef Eduardo Corassa showed us that nothing is off limits. Non-Brazilian recipes made it to the table as well, like the mouthwatering Beet Carrot Mushroom Burger and Mini Pizzas!

Melissa Raimondi (known as Raw Food Romance) shared with us a savory Marinated Mushroom Marinara and Mango Curry Salad! Karen Ranzi, one of Woodstock's original presenters (this year was her 9th Woodstock!) taught us how to make several delicious dressings and dips– both sweet and savory!

Why not dress up your plate? ;) We hope you got a bite of this: raw mango wraps with a pink tahini dresing. Magic!

Who knows what surprises will be on the demo menu next year! One thing's for sure... You can always have a bite.
