Have you tried Kirtan yet?
"This was worth the price of the whole week!"
"Tears, heart opening, and soul stirring."
"A high point of the festival."
"It blew my socks off in a way I could never have seen coming!"
"My favorite part of the whole week. Transformational."
... and multiple comments along the lines of "life changing," "life changing," "life changing."
From Kundalini to breathwork, ziplining to ecstatic dance - and yes maybe even your newfound love of chanting - the Woodstock Fruit Festival will provide you with numerous ways for you to take a breath, dig deep, and let go.
Kirtan, a form of devotional chanting is in the form of call and response, so no experience is necessary!
Understanding the language is also not necessary as we call the many names of God/Goddess/Divine Self. The intention is profound and just sitting in this little bubble of pure love with hundreds of other people will surely open your heart.
Kirtan was a brand new activity to many of our attendees. They didn't know what to expect, didn't understand the language, but left asking for "more, more, more!" We're happy to report that Jared Turner, the kirtan king, will be back at Woodstock next year!
