Chena's Scholarships for Woodstock 2020!

Chena Immel, a five-time attendee, found her community at the Woodstock Fruit Festival, and this year, she's decided to offer her generosity in the form of three Woodstock scholarships!

Chena's Scholarships for Woodstock 2020!

The first year I heard about the Woodstock Fruit Festival, it sounded fun, but I didn't go because I thought it was too expensive. The next year I decided to treat myself, and I discovered that WFF was so much more than I had originally imagined.

I met the most incredible people from all over the world and made such powerful connections with them that on the day we left, we couldn't believe we had only met each other a week before. It was like I had finally found my home planet, a place I could be 100% myself and be truly seen and loved for that.

I learned more about myself in that one week than I had in years, I challenged myself physically and emotionally, and I left transformed, a stronger and more genuine version of me, and it's the same every year. There's something magical about the people who are drawn to this festival and the world they create together. The food may have gotten me there, but the people are why I come back every year, and had I known what I was missing, I never would've waited.

I want the world to be able to experience this, and if I can help even a small handful of people get there one year earlier, I'll be happy. I've arranged for 3 scholarships of $500 each to be used towards a festival ticket for people who otherwise might not be able to afford to go.

To apply, just send me your story, a little bit about yourself, and why it would be important to you to get to the festival. Email me at cheez81@gmail.com by October 31st, and I'll notify the three I've chosen by November 20th.

If you’ve already paid your deposit but are having trouble making the rest of the payments, you’d still be eligible for the scholarship, so please still apply!

If you're someone who'd like to contribute to the scholarships so we can offer more than $500 per scholarship winner, please contact Anne and Yuliya at woodstockfruitfestival@gmail.com by November 20th and they will be able to give you more information. Can't wait to meet you!
Much love,
